Mind Your Fitness Podcast by Ali Lampert

Everyone wants to discover how to live a joyful, healthy lifestyle that lasts. Unfortunately, many experience failure time and time again by following the mainstream approach: workout more, eat less, repeat. Host Ali Lampert knows this approach all too well. As a Certified Personal Trainer, she's experienced her own battles with food and exercise. It wasn't until she began flipping the old paradigm on it's head that she started to experience true, lasting joy. In her body and mind. Her unique approach encourages others to start from the "inside out". Her weekly episodes will inspire you to explore beyond your fitness so you can create lasting results. Ali has a fun, heart-warming, friend-like approach. You'll love hearing from your "best friend and personal trainer" each week.

Are you IN or are you OUT? How many times do you keep your promises to those around you but NOT to yourself? I know, because I do it too. Today we're going to dive into what that looks like as a woman, to put all those around us first and how we can shift our healthy lifestyle into full gear by doing what we say we're gonna do. Keeping your promise to yourself is THE missing link between staying where you are and getting to where you want to be.

We're back with our 3rd official season of the Ali Reti Activate A Life You Love Podcast. There are many cool changes coming down the pipe that I'm excited to announce, but I want to waste no time introducing today's inspiring guest!

Josh Trent is the man behind the wildly successful podcast "Wellness Force" which has been voted one of the top 100 best wellness podcasts of all time. Josh gets it when it comes to a whole mind and body approach, which is why many of the things he focuses on in his episodes are emotional intelligence and going deep within when it comes to health.

Today, Josh opens up deeply about what it means to trust others, owning our truth, finding our own pathway to happiness and being seen for who we really are, stripped of filters and instagram posts.

I have been excited to share this episode with you all because anytime Josh and I get together, we create magic. We play off one another's energy and vibration and it's truly a gift to collaborate with people like Josh.

We'd love to hear about your takeaways and how this episode impacted you over on Facebook and Instagram.

This episode was inspired by one of my favorite mentors Jess Lively, and it couldn't have come at a more relevant time. Lately you may have felt me being more disconnected, and that's because I have been. I realized in 2018 that in order to be who I want to be, I cannot spend so much time on social media, watching tv, the news, all of it. I finally came to realize just how much these things negatively impacted my ability to fully show up as myself.

In today's episode, I'm sharing things I've been afraid to tell you. I openly share what's been shifting in my heart and how I feel that's impacting the direction of my business and ultimately this podcast. It can be scary sometimes. As someone who loves growing and evolving, sometimes I can feel as though it will appear inconsistent, when it's quite the opposite. I'm consistent with following my joy, the things that make me feel deep appreciation and I focus on those things.

Today's episode is perfect for anyone who's ever doubted who they are, where they are going in life and are afraid to openly admit it with others. My hope is that by speaking about my fears it will put them to rest, so I can move forward and share all of the incredible things I'm experiencing in my life, business, marriage, fitness and os much more.

In today's episode, I'm joined by Deb Conry. Self-made mindfulness coach, certified in yoga nedra and she's been through gabby bernsteins spirit junkie masterclass. Deb's work molds the LOA + Visualization with the science behind how the brain works and how you can achieve any goal you desire by understanding the brain and how it plays a large role in adopting new behaviors.

This episode is perfect for anyone who desires to learn more about the LOA + Visualization who may be feeling it's a bit "woo-woo" or "hokey". We totally understand, and that's why I felt it was important to connect with Deb so she can offer another approach to this deeper work.

Today's episode is a long time coming. Meagan and I met through our partnership with the amazing clothing company Athleta. I instantly knew I had to share her story with you all. She's so open, vulnerable and not afraid to put it out there and be REAL. I love that so much.

Meagan is a certified personal trainer, health coach, group fitness instructor and knows all too well what it's like to be at war with her body. Through her life's journey and many twists and turns, it's left Meagan so passionate about helping other women to create a better relationship with their body. To embrace, love and accept the body you're in. After all, it's the only body you've got. Life's to short to not take photos of yourself because you don't look perfect, or wait around to do things until you've lost those last 5 pounds.

To work with Meagan, you can visit her website here

Today we take a quick dive into what it means to find your *true alignment*. Without staying true to you, what lights you up and brings your soul joy, can you truly be in alignment?

At some point, I'm guessing you've been told that you are being "too selfish" when you chose to set boundaries, start saying no and staying true to what is best for you. Today's episode is how selfishness relates to being in alignment.

  • Can you truly be in alignment if you are being selfish?
  • Can you people please and be in alignment with source/God/The Universe?
  • How can you raise your vibration and tune your radio dial to a higher frequency to attract more of what you want?

Happy New Year! Today, I'm sharing a really cool process that I started to reflect on 2017, take note of all that happened and use it to propel me into the New Year in the most profound way possible. In today's episode I cover:

  • My biggest lessons from 2017

In today's episode, I'm chatting with Whitney Carlsen of He and She Eats Clean. You may recognize Whitney as she's been featured in Oxygen magazine and underwent a pretty incredible transformation when she discovered clean eating and strength training.

In today's conversation, Whitney shares candidly about how getting into fitness nearly destroyed her body image. She shares how she's feeling with it all today, and some really important steps she took in order to start loving herself.

Whitney shares a peak inside her world and passion for finance and traveling (hiking national parks).

I hope you enjoy this conversation! You can connect with Whitney directly at the links below:

"Living in a world where 'selfies' are glorified, personal opinions are amplified louder than God's, and society is unashamedly selfish, where do we find our meaning and purpose among all the insanity? From #Selfie to Selfless takes an authentic look at the multiple areas of life where we can wave the white flag on filtering frenzy, and shift our gaze from inward to upward, re-silting in a more fulfilled, confident, purpose driven life." -Kristen Perino, author of #Selfie to Selfless.

Today's episode of the #activatealifeyoulove podcast is with the lovely soul Kristen Perino. She's an author of the upcoming book #Selfie to Selfless and a girl after my own heart. She GETS it. In a world where we can fall prey to the perfect images on social media and the need to 'keep up with the Joneses,' Kristen keeps it real, in a very kind and powerful way. She shared her journey of receiving this 'book download', the process she went through to write it, why she feels called to gently nudge people closer to the things that truly matter (friends, family, being in the present), how Beyoncé falls into the mix, and so much more.

On today's podcast, I'm sharing 10 things my husband as taught me about a healthy relationship/marriage over the past 3 1/2 years. One of the most requested questions and topics I receive on a weekly basis is regarding relationships and questions about my own. Stay tuned next week as my very own husband will be guest starring on the show :)

I've been *swooning* over this episode since the time we recorded it. It is always my ultimate goal to bring you the most inspiring, uplifting and educational content I possibly can. When I was introduced to Amanda by a mutual friend, I knew she would have so much wisdom to share. And that she did.

We talk about her recent book,  Becoming Enough: A Heroine’s Journey to the Already Perfect SelfAs many of you know, this podcast used to be called "Progress over Perfection," so it's no secret I always have a special place in my heart for recovering perfectionist like myself.

We are back with the 71st episode of the Ali Reti Activate A Life You Love Podcast. This weekend, I've been thinking a lot about something I kept hearing over the weekend, and that is "do you have integrity with your word?" I thought this was fascinating because it's something I began analyzing in my own life. I do really amazing in many areas of my life, and then there are areas where I say I'm going to do things and I don't do them and I wind up feeling bad. Today, I want to challenge you to identify an area of your life you keep saying you're going to commit to but you don't. This could be your fitness, your nutrition, starting that blog you want to start, whatever it may be.

What do fitbits, myfitnesspal and scales have in common? They are our society's current obsession for tracking their progress. You want to know the funny thing? They stopped counting calories and stopped measuring their biceps. So what's the alternative? Over the last two years, I've learned some powerful strategies through trial and error to track my progress in all areas of my life without doing it in an obsessive way. Today, I'm sharing my top 5 tips for tracking your progress, whether it's your fitness, nutrition or career. These unconventional tips will help you loosen the grip of control and start allowing yourself to feel more supported in all that you desire to achieve.

I freaking LOVE this episode. This topic is SO the society we live in today. "I'm just eating this piece of cake because it's gluten/dairy/sugar/calorie free." "I'm going to eat this hamburger but no bun, so it's okay." You guys, WHO FREAKING CARES. This is why I love this interview with Alex. We discuss why you need to STOP apologizing for what you are eating. Own your decisions, own your choices and be confident in them. Those that love and support you won't need an explanation, those that do are not meant to be in your life!
