Mind Your Fitness Podcast by Ali Lampert

Everyone wants to discover how to live a joyful, healthy lifestyle that lasts. Unfortunately, many experience failure time and time again by following the mainstream approach: workout more, eat less, repeat. Host Ali Lampert knows this approach all too well. As a Certified Personal Trainer, she's experienced her own battles with food and exercise. It wasn't until she began flipping the old paradigm on it's head that she started to experience true, lasting joy. In her body and mind. Her unique approach encourages others to start from the "inside out". Her weekly episodes will inspire you to explore beyond your fitness so you can create lasting results. Ali has a fun, heart-warming, friend-like approach. You'll love hearing from your "best friend and personal trainer" each week.

This week on the Progress over Perfection Podcast, I'm over the moon to be chatting with one of the biggest thought leaders in our industry. She's a mom, wife, and miraculous person all around.

Trish Blackwell is a recognized fitness professional and thought leader committed to inspiring others to live with more confidence, health and happiness from the inside out. Her unique, three-pronged approach – motivation for your mind, movement and meaning – offers a holistic focus on personal growth and development. Particularly passionate about bringing hope to those who struggle with perfectionism, negative body image, eating disorders, compulsive exercise or confidence issues, Blackwell has become the leader on image issues in the fitness industry. Her own struggle with eating disorders and body dsymorphia plagued her for a full decade, though she hid it well behind a façade of perfectionism and feigned happiness. Trish knows what it feels like to feel trapped inside of your own body and is committed to helping others find the freedom to love the skin they’re in that she was finally able to find through her journey. Confidence coach, life coach, personal trainer, author, speaker and podcaster, Trish inspires her community across the world to conquer life with confidence.

Join us this week as Trish teaches us how we can have more confidence with simple daily practices.

This week on the Progress over Perfection Podcast, I'm interviewing someone very special to me. Technically I'm breaking all the rules (they say you shouldn't interview your own family, but you know what? I LOVE to do everything people tell me not to do, because lets face it, life's too short to follow the straight and narrow path and not do what feels right). So this week, my sister Eliza Kingsford, author of Brain Powered Weight Loss is here to share the truth behind the obesity epidemic, why 70 % of the population is considered over weight, why mindfulness is such a crucial component in creating lasting behavior changes and last but certainly not least, why people may have the wrong idea about struggling with binge eating and what the clinical term actually means.

This weeks episode of the Progress over Perfection Podcast has been long in the making. Over the past 10 years in my career in the Fitness industry, as a National Fitness Trainer, Nutritional Coach and Group Fitness Instructor, I've noticed a lot of similarities. There are themes that come up continuously and after starting this podcast, the emails came pouring in about these same topics.

People wanted to END their battle with food, move joyfully and feel radiant in their own skin. They wanted to stop restricting and start living their life.

This week I opened the doors to the founding members of the Progress over Perfection Academy. Are you ready to end your food & body struggles for good? Are you ready to ditch the punishing workouts and discover new one's that make you feel strong and FREE?

Join me on today's episode as I talk about the POP Academy so you can be one of the 15 founding members to take advantage of this one time opportunity.

In this weeks episode of the Progress over Perfection Podcast, I'm interviewing a STELLAR guest. Lynn Manning is a single mom of 2 girls, a women's health specialist and an entreprenuer. During one of the most difficult times in Lynn's life, she knew that something needed to shift. She began using positive affirmations to turn her life around and swears to this day that it's been the biggest game changers in her body image, fitness and her overall life. Lynn and I also discuss how traveling on a low budget over the past year has allowed her to grow beyond her wildest dreams.

You'll love what Lynn reveals towards the end of the episode about why traveling has had such a profound impact and what it is we're all really searching for.
